Loyal Parsons has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Starting in 1996, Parsons worked as a Project Manager at Fortney Associates. In 1997, Parsons founded Pacific Planning Group and served as the Founder and Principal. Moving forward, Parsons joined Kofax Image Products in 2004 as an Install Engineer - Freelance. In the same role, Parsons also worked at Kofax in 2008. In 2005, Parsons served as a Course Developer at 7 Hills Media Group. From 1998 to 2004, Parsons worked at SL-Tech, initially as a Team Leader and later as a Custom Work Manager, responsible for designing and developing custom solutions for customers. Notably, Parsons also led the development of multiple InstallShield packages and played a critical role in version releases of the core product. Since 2010, Parsons has been associated with Bitcentral, Inc., starting as a Contract Software Engineer, then progressing to the role of Software Engineer. Currently, Parsons holds the position of Software Development Group Manager at Bitcentral, Inc.
Loyal Parsons obtained a Master's Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from UC Irvine between 1993 and 1995. Prior to that, from 1988 to 1992, Loyal earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. In terms of additional certifications, Loyal received the AWS Security Best Practices certification from Amazon Web Services in February 2022. In 1991, Loyal became a member of American Mensa, and in January 2019, Loyal obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services.
