Bitcoin Bharat is a Bitcoin-focused education and community initiative dedicated to improving Bitcoin literacy across India.

The organization works to bridge the gap between widespread awareness of cryptocurrency and a deeper understanding of Bitcoin as an open, decentralized monetary network. Bitcoin Bharat focuses exclusively on Bitcoin and emphasizes education, practical learning, and community engagement.

Through offline workshops, university sessions, and community meetups, Bitcoin Bharat helps students, developers, and curious individuals understand the fundamentals of money, the principles behind Bitcoin, and the importance of self custody and financial sovereignty.

Its flagship initiative, the Bitcoin India Tour, is a nationwide educational program that organizes free Bitcoin workshops across colleges and communities. Each session introduces participants to the evolution of money, the problems with centralized financial systems, and how Bitcoin works as a transparent and decentralized protocol.

To date, Bitcoin Bharat has organized 76+ educational events, directly engaging 13,000+ participants, primarily students and early stage builders. Through digital content and community outreach, the initiative has reached over one million people.

The next phase focuses on expanding the Bitcoin India Tour to 100 additional educational events, with the goal of reaching 20,000 participants directly while supporting the growth of local Bitcoin communities and student led clubs.

Bitcoin Bharat aims to build a strong grassroots foundation for Bitcoin education in India and contribute to the development of the country’s emerging Bitcoin ecosystem.
