Jonathan Chau

Jonathan Chau is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in software development and quality assurance. Currently serving as the Engineering Tech Lead at Bitcoin.com since November 2018, Jonathan spearheads innovative projects and manages cross-functional teams, focusing on both Android and Platform initiatives. Prior to this role, Jonathan contributed to Bitcoin.com as an Android Application Engineer, where significant achievements included rebuilding the Android Wallet in native Kotlin to support over 30,000 daily active users. Jonathan’s career also includes roles such as QA Developer at xMatters, Staff Developer at Teradici, Software Quality Analyst at Global Relay, and a co-op position in Software Quality Assurance at Atimi Software. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering from The University of British Columbia.
