Bitcoin For The Arts, Inc. is the first 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to funding and empowering artists exclusively through Bitcoin. Founded in 2025, we ignite a sovereign renaissance in visual art, theater, dance, music, writing, storytelling, and film by providing micro-grants, workshops, residencies, and co-productions with leading institutions like BAM, Whitney, and Carnegie.
Our mission: In the sovereign spirit of Bitcoin—uncensorable money for uncensorable minds—we ignite a self-sustaining global renaissance in art. Through Bitcoin micro-grants, performance workshops, and visionary live/digital productions, we empower creators to break free from fiat decay. Every donation fuels direct support to artists, powers world-class exhibitions and residencies, and plants a seed in a permanent Bitcoin reserve—building an eternal endowment for human creativity that no institution or inflation can ever touch.
We operate on a transparent 55/30/10/5 rule: 55% to direct BTC grants, 30% to programs, 10% to operations, 5% to our HODL Vault (1 BTC target by 2030). All disbursements are 100% in Bitcoin; fiat donations are converted (with volatility safeguards).
