Bitcoin Timber International Ltd. is building the world's first off-grid, Bitcoin-integrated sawmill on family-owned land along the Canje River in Berbice, Guyana.

We convert timber waste into electricity through biomass gasification, use that electricity to mine Bitcoin, and recapture ASIC waste heat to kiln-dry hardwood lumber for export — creating a closed-loop system with dual revenue streams and zero waste.

Our model:
Forestry — producing premium kiln-dried hardwood (purpleheart, mora, greenheart) for CARICOM and US markets.
Energy — biomass, solar, and micro-hydro powering operations entirely off-grid.
Bitcoin — mining with surplus power, storing value on the hardest money ever invented.

Founded by Shane Anthony, whose grandfather Kawal Ramessar erected the original sawmill on this land in 1979 and operated it for nearly two decades with no grid electricity, no running water, and no bank account.
