Haris Basit

Haris Basit has held various leadership roles in the tech industry over the past decade. Haris was the CEO of Averatek from 2017 to 2023 and also served as Vice Chairman and CEO of VIASPACE Inc from 2015 to 2023. Haris co-founded and served as CEO, CSO, and Board Member of Multigig, a fabless semiconductor company based on innovative circuit technology, from 2004 until 2012. Additionally, they co-founded and served on the board of Mobius Power from 2008 until 2012, a company that developed technologies for smaller and more reliable power supplies. Throughout their career, Haris has also been involved in various advisory board roles, including as a member of the Technical Advisory Committee for UNOS, the organization managing the nation's organ donor system.

Haris Basit earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in an unspecified field of study between 1980 and 1984. Haris then went on to earn a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the same university between 1984 and 1986.
