Andrei Seicean

Andrei Seicean is a Software Engineer Team Lead at Bitdefender since June 2015, where coordination of a team comprised of C++ developers and QA automation engineers focuses on integrating technologies within endpoint products. Key responsibilities include coaching and mentoring team members, as well as managing the backlog to achieve project roadmaps. Prior to this role, Andrei contributed as a proactive malware researcher and developer in the Active Threat Control department, enhancing detection methods and minimizing false positives. Additionally, Andrei served as a Teaching Assistant at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca from October 2018 to June 2021. Educational background includes a Master's degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance, and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, both from Technical University of Cluj Napoca, complemented by a high school diploma in Mathematics and Computer Science from National College "Horea Closca si Crisan."
