Dan Berte is an experienced professional in technology and product leadership, currently serving as the Director of IoT at Bitdefender since September 2011, where efforts focus on elevating the company's status in the Internet of Things sector and developing groundbreaking IoT security solutions. Prior roles at Bitdefender include Chief Architect and Head of Design, where Dan led the creation of Bitdefender BOX, a device designed to protect connected devices. Dan has also contributed to product marketing strategies for various mobile and special products, achieving significant customer engagement. Additionally, Dan serves as a Board Member for the Romanian-American Chamber of Commerce in San Francisco and is an Adjunct Professor specializing in Tech & Innovation at Academia de Studii Economice din București. Previous experience includes leadership positions at MB Dragan and Vodafone, along with founding roles in the free WiFi hotspot industry. Dan holds an MA in Sociology and a BSc in Economics from Babes-Bolyai University.
