Razvan Benchea

Razvan Benchea is an experienced professional in the field of cybersecurity and academia. Currently serving as a Senior Manager at Bitdefender’s Cyber Threat Intelligence Lab since November 2017, Razvan has also held the position of Manager in the same lab. In parallel, Razvan has been a Lecturer at Universitatea „Alexandru Ioan Cuza” din Iași since 2016, after previously serving as an Assistant Professor from 2013 to 2016. Razvan began a career at Bitdefender in June 2009, where roles included Team Leader and Malware Researcher, and was involved in Malware Research from May 2006 to June 2008. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Computer Science and two Bachelor's degrees in Information Security and Informatics, all obtained from Universitatea „Alexandru Ioan Cuza” din Iași.
