Jordan Aasen

Jordan Aasen has worked in various roles since 2006. Jordan began their career as a Chef de Partie at Oak Bay Marine Group and Cava Bistro, before becoming a Software Developer at The Number in 2014. In 2019, they became the Owner/Developer at VI Software Solutions and in 2021, they are currently a Full Stack Engineer at BiTE interactive, where they develop, tests, deploys, and maintains NodeJS applications across the entire stack. Recently, they have been dedicated to front end development with NextJS consuming a NestJS powered API.

Jordan Aasen obtained a Diploma of Education in Computer Systems Technology from Camosun College in 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Certificate in Culinary Arts/Chef Training from Vancouver Island University in 2010. Jordan also holds a Red Seal - Professional Cook certification from the Industry Training Authority (ITA).
