Jess Lee has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Jess began their career in 2010 as a Legislative Assistant for Councilman Curtis Jones Jr. in the City of Philadelphia. Jess then worked as a Community Organizer at DreamActivist Pennsylvania from 2011 to 2013. In 2013, they joined M&T Bank's Management Development Program. In 2014, they founded HandStack, a company they led until 2017. From 2017 onwards, Jess served as the CEO of Bitesize, a Customer Retention platform for automotive dealers. In 2021, they became an Angel Squad Member at Hustle Fund.

Jess Lee attended Bryn Mawr College, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics and Political Science. Subsequently, they enrolled at The Wharton School in 2011 and completed a Certificate in Management & Finance in 2012.
