Cameron Shorkey, MPP has had a diverse work experience since 2008. In 2008, they served as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. From 2011 to 2017, they were an Ethnographic Field Researcher at the University of Colorado. In 2017, they were a Policy Researcher at the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy & Financing - HCPF. Also in 2017, they joined Bitfocus, where they have held two roles: Director of Business Development and Solution Consultant. In their roles at Bitfocus, they have been responsible for creating technology that advances solutions to social challenges, providing solutions for HMIS, case management, conducting homeless policy research, and writing and editing policy white papers and industry briefs.

Cameron Shorkey, MPP obtained a Master's Degree in Public Policy Analysis from the University of Denver - Josef Korbel School of International Studies between 2015 and 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Physical, Biological, and Cultural Anthropology from the University of Colorado between 2008 and 2011.
