Grant Ebbesmeyer has worked in a variety of roles in the social services and public policy fields. In 2015, they began their career as an Intern at Community Alliance for the Homeless, where they helped plan and coordinate events, update member agencies, and consolidate and update webpages, documents, and forms. In 2016, they worked as an Intern at Opportunity Finance Network, where they wrote and finalized one grant proposal and two grant reports, maintained and managed donor and sponsor data, and worked on a team project to provide recommendations for the organization's Ally membership program. In 2017, they worked as an Urban Fellow at the City of Memphis, where they developed a new solid waste program funding proposal, entered in data from survey responses, analyzed data, generated visuals, and created presentations for City Council committee meetings. In 2019, they worked as a Continuum of Care Planning Director at Community Alliance for the Homeless, where they led effective community practices for ending homelessness in Memphis/Shelby County, managed a team of five, and provided technical assistance and resource coordination to partner agencies and service providers. Currently, they are a Senior Project Manager and Project Manager at Bitfocus, where they create technology to advance solutions to social challenges and works with staff to transform systems of care through software and professional services.

Grant Ebbesmeyer holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Urban Studies and Theirtory from Rhodes College.
