Josh Bryan has worked in a variety of roles since 2013. Josh began their career as an Exercise Specialist at Sunshine Terrace Foundation in 2013, followed by roles as an English Second Language Instructor at Maryland Language Institute in 2017, an Owner Conversion Specialist at Conservice The Utility Experts in 2018, a Human Physiology Supplemental Instructor and Language Lab Attendant at Utah State University in 2016, a Conduct Judicial Board Member, Media Services Graduate Assistant, and Graduate Research Assistant at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey in 2019, an Enumerator at the U.S. Census Bureau in 2020, a Partnering Director at the Monterey Living Wage Coalition in 2021, a Peacebuilding Programs Intern at Catholic Relief Services in 2021, and a Coordinated Entry Program Manager and Coordinated Entry Program Coordinator at The Coalition of Homeless Services Providers in 2021. Most recently, in 2022, they began working as a Project Manager at Bitfocus, where they help create technology that advances solutions to social challenges.

Josh Bryan has a diverse education history. Josh obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish Language and Literature from Utah State University in 2017. Josh then attended the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, where they completed a Master of Arts in International Policy and Development - Conflict Resolution and Social Justice in 2021. In 2020, they also earned an International Development and Social Change Certificate from the same institution. Additionally, they completed a Summer Intensive Language Program in Chinese Language and Literature at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey in 2019.
