Kendall Shawhan has held a variety of roles in the public service and technology sectors. From 2007 to 2011, they served as the Marketing Director for the Moses Lake Chamber of Commerce, where they built and managed presence across multiple social media platforms, managed a blog and press release calendar, and designed brochures, invitations, kiosk event boards, and newsletters using Adobe programs. From 2011 to 2015, they were the Development & Database Coordinator for the Institute of Flight/Future of Flight Aviation Center and Boeing Tour. In this role, they created a marketing budget, was the company lead for the implementation of a CRM, and developed targeted marketing and fundraising based on data collection. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Data & Program Analyst for Snohomish County, WA. In 2020, they began their role as a Project Manager for Bitfocus, where they are part of a team that creates technology to advance solutions to social challenges.
Kendall Shawhan obtained a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Communication from Central Washington University between 2009 and 2011. In 2015, they obtained an IT Industry Certified certification from Edmonds Community College.
