Mary McGrail

Vice President Operations at Bitfocus

Mary McGrail has a wealth of experience in the public policy sector. Mary began their career in 2008 as a Policy Intern with the American Association of University Women at AU. In 2010, they joined HomeBase, The Center for Common Concerns, where they held the roles of Policy Analyst, Senior Research Associate, and Research Associate. In 2018, Mary worked as a Graduate Student Researcher with the National Center for Youth Law, a Learning, Evaluation, and Impact Consultant with the Global Fund for Women, and a Graduate Student Fellow with the San Francisco Housing Accelerator Fund. In 2019, they were a Capacity Building Associate with the National Alliance to End Homelessness, and in 2020 they joined Bitfocus as the Director of Corporate Strategy and Senior Special Projects Manager.

Mary McGrail attended Union College from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Mary then attended the University of California, Berkeley's Goldman School of Public Policy from 2017 to 2019, where they earned a Master of Public Policy degree in Public Policy Analysis.
