Sarah Dougherty

Sarah Dougherty has over 13 years of work experience in the social services sector. Sarah began their career in 2007 at DESC (Downtown Emergency Service Center) as a Data Systems Administrator, then was promoted to Reports/Data Specialist after only four months. Sarah then moved into the role of Housing Program Contracts Manager. In 2010, they were promoted to Director of Information Services, where they led the Information Services department and provided strategic guidance around technology. In 2016, they moved to Bitfocus, where they served as the Director of Professional Services. In this role, they oversaw the delivery of professional services, including consultation, solution design and analysis, configuration, data analysis, and new customer onboarding for Clarity Human Services. Sarah was responsible for building department policies, processes, and other infrastructure while simultaneously managing substantial demand for services. Sarah completed projects with 50% of the customer base during their first 18 months, with more than half immediately becoming repeat customers. Sarah achieved a 100% customer satisfaction rate on all projects, with customers ranging from rural counties to some of the largest metropolitan areas in the country. Sarah also doubled the department size in their first 18 months to meet growing demand for services. In 2018, they were promoted to Director of Community Administration, where they directed teams responsible for building long-term partnerships with some of the largest communities using Clarity Human Services software.

Sarah Dougherty obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology and Women's Studies from The Evergreen State College.
