James Marchant

James Marchant, PhD is a Machine Learning Engineer at Bitfount since August 2020. Prior to that, James worked as a Senior Researcher/Engineer at Samsung Research UK focusing on Federated Learning, Differential Privacy, and Communication Efficiency. James also has experience in AI applications for cyber security at UK Civil Service and data science at Aframe during a secondment. James holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Warwick with a thesis on emergent behavior in AI and Multi-Agent Systems. James has a strong educational background in Computer Science and Physics from University of Warwick and University of Oxford.
