John Kenning

John Kenning is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leading large-scale organizations. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer and President at First Student since March 2022, Kenning previously held the position of CEO for G4S Americas & Technology from January 2015 to August 2021. Prior roles include EVP/President of Commercial at OfficeMax, where responsibility encompassed a $3.5 billion P&L and 8,000 employees, and President of North America Commercial at ADT, managing a $2 billion division with 10,000 employees. Kenning's earlier career features senior leadership positions at Nortel, where responsibilities included global sales and business development for a $2 billion organization, as well as co-founding N-1 Technologies, LLC. Kenning has a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Finance from Miami University.
