Rasheed Alabi

Rasheed Alabi has had a diverse career in the technology and insurance industries. In 2021, they began working as a Software Engineer for Bitmama, where they are responsible for designing at scale, stopping the bad guys, monitoring liveness, interpreting the charts, hacking stuffs together, playing the devil's advocate, and sometimes managing people. In 2020, they worked as a Software Developer for Lubred Technologies Limited, where they designed and implemented highly visual and interactive web applications with HTML, CSS, styled components, Kendo UI and Syncfusion, and developed algorithms for data visualisation, geospatial rendering and real time incidence analytics using Javascript and D3. From 2014 to 2020, they worked at Linkage Assurance Plc, first as an ERM Analyst, where they analyzed ERM data to identify trends and material enterprise-wide risk issues, and produced reports and presentations outlining findings and recommending changes. Rasheed then moved into a role as an Underwriter, where they reviewed individual and group applications for automobile, fire, health, liability, property, marine, aircraft and other insurance, evaluated new and renewal applications to determine insurance risks, premiums, extent of coverage and other conditions of the insurance contract, and approved sale of insurance policies. In 2013, they worked as a Digital Marketing Manager for Strong Future International.

Rasheed Alabi attended Seat Of Wisdom College from 2003 to 2005. Rasheed then attended Federal University Of Agriculture, Abeokuta from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Mathematics.
