Michael N. has over 10 years of work experience in various roles. Michael began their career in 2004 as the E-Commerce Manager for RedOctane, where they directed the Online Store division and managed 9 employees. In 2006, they took on a 6-month consulting project at FPT Software, completing all goals 1.5 months early. In 2007, they became the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Cyworld Vietnam, where the social networking service reached 4M Users and was awarded the Red Herring Asia 2010 Award. In 2010, they founded and became the CEO of Mimo, the most popular microblogging service in Vietnam with over 2M users and 21 employees. In 2013, they founded and became the CEO of FriendsPlus, a social/local/mobile dating (SoLoMo) app, which was acquired by Vietnam's largest dating community, Noi.vn. In 2016, they took on the role of Vice President of Business Development at Indigo 7 Silicon Valley, as well as the Head of Business Operations at Steel Wool Studios, an indie Virtual Reality (VR) content studio. Finally, in 2018, they became the Head of Operations at Bitmark Inc., a company that develops cryptographic products and was awarded as World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer in 2020.
Michael N. attended Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management from 2014 to 2015, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing. Michael also attended University of California, Berkeley from 2002 to 2004, where they earned a BA in Comparative Literature.
