Daniel Rojas

Daniel Rojas has a strong background in machine learning and computer vision engineering. Daniel worked at BitMetrics as a Computer Vision Engineer starting in July 2023. Prior to that, they were a Machine Learning Engineer at INLOC Robotics from October 2021 to March 2023. During their time at INLOC Robotics, they developed and trained deep learning networks and computer vision algorithms for various tasks, such as sewer system defect classification and vehicle interior detection. Daniel also improved the system's performance by 170% and contributed to image and video labeling. Daniel's previous experience includes working as a Machine Learning Engineer at the Computer Vision Center from October 2020 to September 2021. Here, they conducted research projects on spectral super-resolution and proposed an architecture that outperformed state-of-the-art methods. Daniel also developed techniques for acquiring and preprocessing remote sensing data.

Daniel Rojas holds a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, which they obtained from 2021 to 2023. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, where they studied from 2017 to 2021. In terms of certifications, Daniel has obtained the C1 Advanced English certification from Cambridge Assessment English in October 2021 and the Certificate in English (C1 Advanced) from the British Council in April 2021. Daniel has also completed the Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) Specialization and the Introduction to Data Science in Python courses from Coursera, in November 2020 and September 2019 respectively.
