Noel Chetty

Noel Chetty has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over 24 years in the financial industry. Their most recent role was as the Head of Custody Engineering at BitMEX starting from February 2021. Prior to that, they worked at HSBC Global Banking and Markets as a Senior Programme Manager for Digital Transformation & Client Experience from December 2016 to February 2021. Noel also held positions at Macquarie Group, Credit Suisse, Barclays Investment Bank, Barclays, Barclays Capital, Nomura Securities, Lehman Brothers, and Merrill Lynch, where they served in various leadership roles such as Head of Asia Cash Equities, CFO Program Services APAC, and Director, among others. Their work experience demonstrates a strong track record and expertise in program management, technology, and finance within the banking and investment sector.

Noel Chetty completed a Masters degree in Applied Finance from Macquarie University in 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a B.E degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Karnatak University in 1989.

In addition to their formal education, Noel Chetty has also earned several certifications. Noel obtained the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) credential from the Project Management Institute in March 2023. Noel also received certification as a Certified Blockchain and Finance Professional from the Blockchain Council in February 2023. Furthermore, they completed the PGP in Full Stack Web Development from Caltech CTME Post Graduate Programs in October 2021. Additionally, they earned the PGP in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from The University of Texas at Austin in March 2021. Noel has also received the NYU Stern Certificate in Fintech from NYU Stern School of Business in May 2019. Finally, they obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in February 2023.
