Winfred Wan

Winfred Wan is a seasoned professional in the field of information security and application development, currently serving as the Threat And Vulnerability Management Lead at BitMEX since December 2022. Previously, Winfred held roles including Senior Application Security Manager and Application Security Engineer at OSL from February 2019 to November 2022, and worked as an Information Security Consultant at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd from April 2016 to February 2019. Winfred's career began with self-employment as a Freelance Web Consultant, focusing on web development and cloud services on AWS, and included significant contributions as an IT Consultant at Unisys. Winfred's technical expertise encompasses secure system architecture, vulnerability assessments, and incident handling, complemented by experience in software engineering and quality assurance. Winfred holds a Master’s degree in Information Technology from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and dual Bachelor's degrees in Computer Science from the University of York.
