Eric Thomas

Eric Thomas is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the technology and oil sectors. Currently serving as General Manager DACH at Bitmovin since January 2022, Eric oversees the Emmy award-winning company's operations in the DACH region, focusing on video streaming infrastructure for high-profile clients such as the BBC and Hulu Japan. Previously, Eric played a pivotal role in driving global business development efforts at Bitmovin and served as Chief of Staff to the CEO/CFO. Before joining Bitmovin, Eric held leadership positions at OMV, where responsibilities included leading special projects for the Chief Commercial Officer and rapidly advancing from intern to Chief of Staff. Eric's career commenced as an Analyst at Oxford Economics, complemented by a strong educational background with a Master's degree from ESCP Business School and a Bachelor's degree from the Technical University of Munich.
