Nicholas Yoder

Nicholas Yoder started their career as a Firefighter for the Pittsburgh Fire Department from 2003 to 2007. Nicholas then worked as an Equity Derivatives Trader at Morgan Stanley from 2009 to 2015, where they were responsible for various trading strategies and achieved a high implied/realized spread on short gamma models. From 2015 to 2018, Nicholas served as a Portfolio Manager at Fayette Capital, and then joined Virgil Quantitative Research as a Senior Portfolio Manager from 2018 to 2020. Currently, they are the Head of Trading at BitOoda since 2021.

Nicholas Yoder obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Financial Mathematics from Carnegie Mellon University, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. In addition, they have also earned additional certifications, including "Biology of Cancer (with Honors)" from Coursera in February 2021, and "Private Aircraft Pilot" from the Federal Aviation Administration in January 2021.
