Shaun Wyles

Shaun Wyles has a long and varied career in the financial services industry. In 1995, they began working at BNP Paribas as Head of Credit Trading & Head of Flow Credit Sales, trading Fixed & Libor-based European Government, Agency and Corporate Bonds. In 2010, they moved to Mizuho Bank London Branch as Managing Director & Executive Board Member, where they were responsible for the formulation of the Bank’s European growth strategy, execution of long-term strategic plan and day-to-day decision-making, as well as leading Fixed Income Sales. In 2014, they took on the role of Chief Executive Officer at BrightMove Media Ltd, where they designed, manufactured and deployed smart displays combining cutting edge hardware with bespoke software platforms. That same year, they also became a Non Executive Director at Bitposter, an automation technology company for the outdoor advertising market. In 2015, they became a Company Director at Honey Bee Investors Ltd. Currently, Shaun Wyles is a Senior Associate at the Financial Conduct Authority, working within the Wholesale Bank Sector Team in the Supervision, Policy & Competition division and is responsible for Crypto, Technology, Op Resilience & Cyber workstreams.

Shaun Wyles obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) between 1984 and 1987. In 2021, they obtained the Project Management Foundation certification from PRINCE2.com. In 2020, they obtained the Certificate in Global Financial Compliance from The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI) and the Certificate in Anti-Money Laundering from the International Compliance Association.
