Lawrence Ray 🇬🇧🇧🇷

Lawrence Ray has held a variety of roles in the UK and Brazil since 2010. Lawrence began their career as a Barista at Coffee Corner in 2010 and then worked as a Fundraising and Front Office Work Experience at CANTERBURY OAST TRUST in 2012. Lawrence then moved to Williams Pitt Chartered Loss Adjusters in 2015 as a Loss Adjuster, and to SIRS Navigation Ltd as a Business Support Assistant. In 2016, they became an Environmental Loss Adjuster at QuestGates Ltd, where they worked until 2020. In 2020, they joined Easy Crypto as Head Of Market Development (Global) and Co-Founder and Head of Easy Crypto Brasil. Lawrence also started their own consulting business, Lawrence Ray Consulting, in 2021 as a Go-to-Market and Brasil Cryptocurrency Consultant. Finally, in 2022, they joined Blockchain Floripa as a Co Organizer.

Lawrence Ray has a background in business and management, having obtained a BSc Hons degree in Business and Management from the University of Buckingham between 2012 and 2014. Prior to that, they attended King's School Rochester from 1998 to 2012. Lawrence also holds a Cert CILA from CILA obtained in August 2016, and Certificates CS198.1x: Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies and CS198.2x: Blockchain Technology from the University of California, Berkeley, obtained in April and May 2020, respectively.
