Thomas Mills has worked in the financial services industry for over a decade. In 2006, they began their career as a Registered Client Service Associate at Smith Barney. In 2008, they moved to Stanford Management Company as a Gifts Directs Analyst, where they facilitated over $60 million of securities trades and transfers via gift donations. In 2009, they joined Wells Fargo as a Licensed Premier Banker, where they were the #1 Licensed Banker in the Peninsula Region for new investment assets acquired during five quarters and achieved 100% perfect customer satisfaction surveys conducted by Gallup in 2011. In 2010, they founded and served as the COO of Mills Wine Group. In 2018, they co-founded Evolve Wine Co. Most recently, they have been the Head of Customer Happiness at Bitrefill since 2020.

Thomas Mills received their Bachelor's degree in Economics from The George Washington University between 2002 and 2006. Prior to this, they attended Bellarmine College Preparatory from 1998 to 2002. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including a Professional Certificate in Blockchain Fundamentals from the University of California, Berkeley in July 2020, a Securities Industry Essentials certification from FINRA in July 2020, and a Level 2 - Passed with Distinction certification from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust in March 2019.
