Michael Luby

Michael Luby is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of BitRipple, Inc., where they lead a world-class team focused on innovative data delivery solutions. Previously, they served as a Senior Research Scientist and Senior Consultant at the International Computer Science Institute and as Vice President of Technology at Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. Michael co-founded Digital Fountain, where they developed technology for video streaming and delivery that was subsequently acquired by Qualcomm. With an extensive academic background, they held positions as an Associate Professor and PostDoctoral Researcher at the University of Toronto and as an adjunct professor at UC Berkeley, specializing in theoretical computer science. Michael earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.Sc. in Mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
