Rayees Wani has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Rayees started their career as a collection/retention executive at Aircel in 2006 and then moved on to work as a senior financial planning consultant at MetLife from 2008 to 2011. At MetLife, they developed personalized financial plans and established client relationships.
From 2011 to 2015, Rayees worked at J&K Bank as a banking associate, with responsibilities that included handling government and pensioner business. Rayees also successfully handled forex back-end operations.
After that, Rayees joined Adnow.com in 2015 as an account manager for India and later became the sales head for Asia. Rayees then worked as the head of the international sales department from 2018 to 2019. At Adnow.com, they focused on sales and expanding business in the Asian market.
In 2019, Rayees joined edna as the director of international business development, where they helped the company go global, focusing on enhancing customer service communication services for corporates and SMEs.
Following their time at edna, Rayees worked at Joycalls Group as the country manager from 2022 to 2023. In this role, they were responsible for expanding international business and scaling operations in existing markets.
In 2023, Rayees briefly worked at SOLYANKA as a consultant/tutor, providing guidance on business strategy, go-to-market strategy, and understanding non-native markets. Rayees also assisted in brushing up on business English language skills.
Currently, Rayees is working as the managing director India at Bitrix24, a role they started in September 2023.
Rayees Wani has a specialization in Business Technology Management from the Indian School of Business. Rayees also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in International Business from AMITY University Gurgaon. In addition, Rayees has a Masters degree in Literature and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Kashmir. Rayees has obtained various certifications, including Professional Skills for International Business from Coursera and several specializations and projects in Business Technology Management from the Indian School of Business.
