Eric Weber has a diverse work experience in the fields of entrepreneurship, venture capital, and business consulting. Eric is currently the CEO and Founder of SpinLab - The HHL Accelerator, where they have supported over 108 startups in energy, smart city, and ehealth industries. Under their leadership, SpinLab has been recognized as a top 3 accelerator in Germany. Additionally, they manage RootCamp, an incubator focusing on AgriFood technologies. Eric is also the Co-Founder and Venture Partner at Smart Infrastructure Ventures, a company dedicated to developing innovative infrastructure solutions. Previously, they served as the Smart Infrastructure Hub Coordinator at the Digital Hub Initiative, where they played a key role in promoting Germany's digital ecosystem. Prior to their entrepreneurial ventures, Eric worked as a Research Associate and Startup Consultant at HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management and in sales positions at EXXETA GmbH and Partner für Technik Group.

Eric Weber has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from the University of Cooperative Education Riesa, which they obtained between 2007 and 2010. Eric then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Management Science at Leipzig University from 2010 to 2012. Subsequently, they attended HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management.
