André Ascensão

André Ascensão is a skilled frontend engineer with extensive experience in web development. Currently serving as a Staff Frontend Engineer at BitSight since April 2019, André previously held positions as Senior Frontend Engineer within the same company. Prior roles include Frontend Team Leader and Frontend Developer at Diamond by BOLD, as well as Web Developer at ROFF, where André also contributed to Digital Jump. Experience also includes working as a Frontend Developer for BOLD International, and as a Research Fellow at Instituto Superior Técnico. Additionally, André began a career in IT as a collaborator for SystemsGroup - Junior Enterprise, focusing on web application development. André holds a BSc in Aerospace Engineer Sciences from Instituto Superior Técnico and has pursued an MSc in the same field.
