Jason Benedict is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in information security and risk management. Currently serving on the Customer Advisory Board at BitSight since 2021, Jason has held the position of Associate Vice President for IT & Chief Information Security Officer at Fordham University since May 1998, where responsibilities include developing and maintaining a comprehensive information security and risk program. Jason's leadership roles at Fordham also encompassed strategic vision creation for the Information Security Office and oversight of IT security, risk mitigation, and data integrity. Previous positions include Director of Computer Services at Noble Insights and Director of Information Systems and Planning at Fordham Law School. Jason holds a Master of Science in Cybersecurity and a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Information Technology from Fordham University, along with participation in leadership programs including the Society for Information Management Regional Leadership Forum and the FBI CISO Academy.
