Natalie Jorion

Natalie Jorion, PhD, is a Principal Data Scientist at BitSight since April 2021, specializing in developing loss risk forecasting and scoring models through machine learning and historical cyber loss data. Prior to this, Natalie served as a Psychometrician at PSI Services LLC and Pearson VUE, focusing on automated tools for exam item integrity, conducting detailed analyses, and presenting research findings at conferences. Academic experience as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Illinois at Chicago included conducting psychometric analyses and teaching undergraduate statistics. Educational credentials include a PhD in Learning Sciences from the University of Illinois Chicago, a Master's of Arts in Learning Sciences from Northwestern University, and a Bachelor's of Arts in French and Creative Writing with a Math minor from UC San Diego.
