Tom Gates

Tom Gates is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience spanning over three decades in the technology sector. Currently employed at BitSight since July 2021 and at NALEJ since May 2020, Tom focuses on developing complex Kubernetes Operators for applications, including a significant project for the Department of Defense. Prior experience includes roles at NuoDB, where Tom engineered a GoLang-based Kubernetes Operator and a database metrics tool, and earlier positions at Mobile Messenger, Progress Software, eXcelon, Object Design Inc., CenterLine Software Inc., and SRA, covering a broad range of technologies from Microsoft .NET and Java to Object Oriented Databases. Educational background includes an Associate's degree in Electronics Engineering from Mount Wachusett Community College and study at the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
