Dimuthu Wickramanayake

Dimuthu Wickramanayake has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries.

Starting from 2016, Dimuthu worked as a Committee Member for ACES (University of Peradeniya) until September 2017. In October 2016, they started working as the Aarogya - MarCom(OCVP) for AIESEC in Kandy, ending in March 2017.

In 2017, Dimuthu had an internship as a Software Engineering Intern at Wavenet, where they received an award for being the best industrial trainee for the year 2018 by the Institute of Engineers Sri Lanka for computer engineering. Their responsibilities included working on IVR development and creating a security dispatching system using JS, PHP, and Android. This internship lasted from November 2017 to March 2018.

Moving on, from May 2019 to December 2020, Dimuthu worked as a Software Engineer at DirectFN.

In 2020, Dimuthu joined Sysco LABS Sri Lanka as a Software Engineer in December 2020 and was later promoted to Senior Software Engineer in August 2021. Their tenure at Sysco LABS lasted until October 2022.

Parallel to their other roles, Dimuthu also worked as an Academic Tutor at the Open University of Sri Lanka from October 2021 to March 2022.

Currently, in 2022, Dimuthu is working as a Back-End Developer at Bitsmedia.

Dimuthu Wickramanayake completed their education at the University of Peradeniya from 2014 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering. Prior to that, they attended Anuradhapura central college from 2003 to 2012 for their high school education, focusing on Mathematics.

In addition to their formal education, Dimuthu Wickramanayake has obtained several certifications. Dimuthu received a JavaScript (Basic) Certificate from HackerRank in June 2021 and a Rest API (Intermediate) Certificate from the same institution in April 2021. Dimuthu Wickramanayake also completed a course titled "Spring boot for software engineers" through Udemy: Online Courses, although the dates of completion are not provided.
