Aytek Mutlu

Aytek Mutlu serves as the Head of Trading at Bitso, where responsibilities include leading market-making activities and designing fully automated high-frequency market-making systems utilizing machine learning-based algorithms. As Co-Founder of Grovehood Collective since January 2025, contributions extend to entrepreneurial initiatives. Previously, a Quantitative Trader at Mako Trading, Aytek specialized in machine learning-driven algorithmic trading and trading strategy development. Additional experience encompasses roles as a Quantitative Consultant at VB Advisory, pricing and trading for Credit Europe Bank N.V. and TSKB, and contributing as a Project Assistant at METU Technopolis. Aytek holds a Master of Science in Quantitative Risk Management from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi, combined with a minor in Corporate Finance from the same institution.
