Felipe Vallejo is the current Chief Regulatory Officer at Bitso. Prior to this, they were with Promexico North America as a Strategy Advisor from October 2015 to July 2017. There, they were in charge of the strategic planning for the 15 offices of ProMexico in Canada and the US. Felipe also implemented KPI´s and a series of cutting edge economic methodologies to identify FDI opportunities. Before Promexico North America, Vallejo worked at Xochi Ventures.
Vallejo began their career at Intercam Grupo Financiero as an Investment Banking Division- Summer Associate from June 2014 to August 2014. There, they developed a business plan to establish a project finance division within Interbanco. Felipe also collaborated in several Initial Public Offerings and bond issuances including a US$150 million issuance by Navistar Financial and other corporate debt related financing.
From January 2011 to August 2013, Vallejo served as the Director General SXNL. In this role, they were responsible for the operations of the state government including a staff of over 10,000 employees. Felipe also oversaw a budget of over $3 billion pesos.
Prior to their role as Director General SXNL, Vallejo served as the Executive Office of the Governor for Gobierno del Estado de Nuevo León from December 2009 to May 2011.
Felipe Vallejo has a Master in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School, a Bachelor in law from Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, a Bachelor in Economics from Tecnológico de Monterrey, and a Diploma in Finance from Boston University. Felipe also has a certificate in Alternative Investments from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
