Ivan Talavera

Ivan Talavera has a diverse work experience in various positions in the technology industry. Ivan started their career as a Junior Software Developer at Soluciones Integrales de Control y Automatización in 2004 and later became an Infrastructure Manager at the same company in 2007. Ivan then worked as a Senior Java Developer at Telcel from 2007 to 2013. Ivan then joined Indra as a Senior Java Developer in 2013, followed by a role as a Software Architect at AN from 2015 to 2017. At AN, they were involved in designing Santander Mexico's client OnBoarding solution and integrating it with Banco de Mexico's CoDi scheme. Ivan later became a Solutions Architect at AN from 2017 to 2019, responsible for designing third-party software integration with core banking services. Their most recent positions include being the Head of Lil Bits Engineering Department at Bitso from 2019 to 2021 and currently serving as an Engineering Squad Lead at Bitso from August 2021 onward.

Ivan Talavera holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey, which they obtained from 1999 to 2003. Ivan has also completed additional certifications including "GCP Essentials" from Google in 2019, "Redis Labs | RU202: Redis Streams" from Redis Labs in 2019, and "AWS Technical Professional (Digital)" from Amazon Web Services in 2018.
