Taun Chapman is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in IoT and software development. Currently serving as an Advanced Firmware Engineer at Fellowes Brands, Taun contributes to IoT project development and mentors best practices in software product development. Previous roles include Technical Consultant at ROAR, where Taun specialized in Elixir+Nerves consulting, and Staff Engineer at Bowery Farming, leading a project to enhance automated produce packaging systems. As Co-founder and CTO at ROAR for Good, Taun spearheaded significant improvements in hardware manufacturing processes and pivoted the business model to a B2B solution. With extensive experience ranging from founding MOEDAE LLC to leading engineering teams at Eastman Kodak and Creo Products, Taun holds degrees in Computer Aided Automation from The University of British Columbia, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in French Language and Literature from Guilford College, complemented by coursework in Electrical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
