Paul Roest

Paul Roest is a Principal Software Architect at Deltek since April 2024, with a robust background in software security and development. Currently serving as a Software Security Architect at Bitt since December 2021, Paul focuses on enhancing security measures and ensuring compliance during audits while also architecting components for distributed ledger technology related to central bank digital currencies. Previously, Paul held key positions such as Manager of Security Engineering & Architecture at NICE inContact, where solutions were developed to protect IVR systems for various clients. Paul’s extensive experience includes roles at Symantec, inContact, InComm, Overstock.com, Universal Mind, Pason Systems Inc., and JPMorgan/Chase, showcasing a consistent focus on software development, security, and system architecture. Paul holds a degree from East Tennessee State University James H. Quillen College of Medicine, obtained between 1994 and 1999.
