Wayne Knight

Wayne Knight currently serves as Chief Financial Officer at Bitterroot Health since November 2022. Previously, Wayne held the position of Interim Director of Finance at The University of Vermont Medical Center from September 2021 to November 2022 and Interim Chief Financial Officer at McLaren Northern Michigan Medical Center between October 2020 and March 2022. As an independent contractor/consultant from 2004 to March 2022, Wayne acted as Regional Hospital CFO, overseeing multiple critical access facilities while maintaining operating margins above 10%. Prior experience includes roles as Regional Hospital CFO at Ascension from May 2004 to February 2019 and Hospital CFO at LifePoint Hospitals (2000-2003) and HCA (1978-1999). Wayne holds a BA in Finance and Systems Analysis and a BA in Accounting from UWF Lewis Bear Jr. College of Business.
