Evan Steeves, Ing., MBA, is a seasoned Project Engineer at Bitumar with over a decade of engineering experience. Since March 2012, Evan has focused on evaluating production and maintenance needs, developing project scopes, and ensuring efficient financial resource management. Previously, Evan held roles such as Automation Engineer, where responsibilities included designing and starting up new equipment and managing automation projects. Early career experiences featured positions as an Applications Engineer during a co-op at Invensys, overseeing factory acceptance tests for automated systems, and as a Supervisor in the Component Repair Department at Pratt & Whitney Canada, where leadership involved managing unionized employees and improving operational metrics. An engineering intern at Bitumar previously contributed to significant cost savings and safety improvements. Academic qualifications include an MBA from Concordia University's John Molson School of Business and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Concordia University.
