Louis George

Louis George has a diverse work experience spanning from 2019 to 2022. In 2019, they worked as a Materials Testing Technician at EXL Engineering Inc., where they executed a variety of testing and quality control measures, communicated and liaised between stakeholders, and applied time management and organizational skills to maximize job site efficiency. In 2020, they held two positions: a Software Developer at Mighty Oaks and a Software Developer Intern at Shakti Reforestation. At Mighty Oaks, they worked on MightyCart, CedarBox, Raven Events, and a wide range of projects, utilizing a tech stack including Django, DRF, ElasticSearch, PostgreSQL, PostGIS, and React. At Shakti Reforestation, they worked part-time on a contract to build a Django web app for data entry and management, including database design, full back-end and front-end development, API integration, and deployment with Heroku, as well as leading and managing a team of outsourced developers. Currently, Louis George is an API Product Manager at Bitwage, a position they have held since 2022.

Louis George has a Diploma in Data Science from BrainStation obtained in 2020. Louis also has a Bachelor of Science - BS from Concordia University obtained in 2019, with a Specialization in Environmental Science and a Minor in Philosophy. Additionally, they have a Statistical Learning certification from Stanford University obtained in March 2020.
