Patrick White has worked in the technology industry since 2003. Their first role was as a Software Engineer at Intuit in 2003. Patrick then held the role of Microsoft Intern in 2004 and CTO and Chief Architect at VistaConnect in 2003. In 2005, they worked as a Software Developer at CyberArts. From 2006 to 2007, they were an Architect Evangelist at Microsoft. In 2007, they became Group Product Manager at Fortify Software, where they were responsible for product development and working with customers to build a line of software security applications. In 2009, they founded and became CEO of Ally Software, an enterprise software consulting firm. From 2012 to 2018, they were CEO and Co-Founder of Synata, the first enterprise search engine natively integrated to cloud and on-premise software. In 2016, they joined Cisco as Chief Architect and Principal Engineer of Spark, where they lead architecture and cloud strategy for Cisco collaboration product and instituted change that increased reliability from <98% to 99.95%. Since 2018, they have been the CEO of Bitwave, building solutions for enterprises to store, manage, and account for cryptocurrencies and tokens.
Patrick White attended the University of Southern California from 2001 to 2005 and obtained a BS in Computer Engineering and Computer Science. Prior to that, they attended Stevenson School.
