John Marino

John Marino started their work experience as a Deckhand at Sayville Ferry Service Inc in 2010, then moved on to become a Senior Deckhand in 2013, and eventually became a U.S. Coast Guard Licensed Captain in 2014. In 2015, they transitioned to Sayville Ferry Service as a Port Captain & Manager, where they managed crews and staff, oversaw day-to-day operations, and ensured the safety of staff and passengers. In 2016, they joined Gemini Fund Services as a Fund Accountant, where they performed daily accounting functions for mutual funds and ETFs. John eventually became a Fund Accountant II, responsible for advising coworkers on NAV calculation processes and monitoring complex funds with billions of dollars in assets. Most recently, in 2022, John Marino joined Bitwise Asset Management as a Fund Administration Associate.

John Marino received a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from SUNY Oneonta and the State University of New York College at Oneonta between 2013 and 2016. John studied Economics and Finance during their undergraduate studies.
