BIVID was established with a clear long-term mission: to invest sustainably in Vietnam, develop the pharmaceutical industry in line with international standards & contribute to public health and national healthcare self-reliance.

Together, BIVID’s philosophy is clear: quality as the foundation, Vietnam as the center, and global standards as the guiding principle.

Founded in 2005, BIVID became one of the pioneering companies introducing German-manufactured pharmaceutical products into Vietnam, serving as the official distributor for leading European groups such as Hameln Pharma, Rotexmedica, and Solupharm, while expanding partnerships across Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Greece, Portugal, and Spain, including global players Octapharma, Demo, and Kedrion. BIVID’s diverse, high-quality portfolio has strengthened Vietnam’s treatment capacity, particularly in critical care, anesthesia, biologics, vaccines, and specialized medicines. Notably, BIVID was the first private pharmaceutical company in Vietnam licensed to distribute controlled and psychotropic medicines, demonstrating exceptional governance and regulatory compliance.
In 2025, BIVID launched the BIVID Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Project—a flagship investment spanning 8.1 hectares, with 124,000 m² of construction and five specialized manufacturing plants. The project aims to secure local supply, reduce import dependence, and expand exports—fully aligned with Vietnam’s 2030–2045 national pharmaceutical strategy.

2026 marks a pivotal milestone as BIVID commences operations, implements technology transfer, and advances toward full-scale pharmaceutical manufacturing in Vietnam.

BIVID actively seeks global partnerships in technology transfer, CMO/CDMO, oncology and diabetes medicines, import–export, cold-chain logistics (−35°C), hospital distribution, and tender participation—working together to build a sustainable pharmaceutical value chain.
