John Shortess

John Shortess has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. John started their career as a Master Control Engineer at Louisiana Public Broadcasting in 1993. John then transitioned into roles such as Webmaster/Educational Technology Coordinator and Senior Web Producer at various organizations. John worked as Manager/Editor and Web Producer for WETA, where they managed operations, content development, and user interface design. John also served as a Manager, Communications Media at the National Rural Telecommunications Cooperative and as a Web Project Manager at Energy Enterprise Solutions, LLC. More recently, they worked as Director of Technology at 4Site Interactive Studios and as a Lead Software Engineer at Bixal. John's most recent position is as a Volunteer at Drupal 4 Gov.
