Matt Renaud has extensive experience in corporate finance and has held various leadership roles throughout their career. Matt started their career as an Accounting Professional at Robert M. Renaud & Associates in 1999 before moving on to become a Small Business Consultant at Peace Corps from 2000 to 2001. Matt then worked as an International Development Consultant at Gateway Business & Community Coalition in 2003. In 2004, they joined ACDI/VOCA, where they held multiple roles, including Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, Controller, and ultimately Chief Financial Officer until 2016. From 2016 to 2022, Matt served as the Chief Financial Officer at Trout Unlimited. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Finance at Bixal starting from 2022, where they utilize their expertise in cash and liquidity management, corporate strategy, budgeting and forecasting, and IT strategy to drive success and collaborate across organizations.
Matt Renaud attended the University of Notre Dame from 1995 to 1999 and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting. In 2003, they briefly studied at the Monterey Institute of International Development and obtained an MBA in International Business Management. Additionally, during their time at the University of Notre Dame, they specialized in Accounting and Finance through the Mendoza College of Business - Department of Accountancy.
